Ill Niño is a latino/nu metal band from New Jersey. Their style is very unique because they combine soft flamenco rhythems with heavy guitar riffs and just simply awesome screaming vocals. A lot of people compare them to Soulfly because of their latino roots and the similar melodic parts in some of their songs. Their first album was probably the heaviest so far and is also sometimes compared to Slipknots early stuff.

Current Members:

Cristian Machado – Vocals
Dave Chavarri – Drums
Lazaro Pina – Bass
Ahrue Luster – Guitar
Daniel Couto – Percussion
Diego Verduzco – Guitar

At the moment the guys are finishing off the work on their 4th full length album "Enigma", due for a mid-June 2007.

Ill Nino is a great band I just have there One Nation Underground CD and I have listened to that a lot. I would love to see them live.

Seen them live 2004 in Austria on Aerodrome. There's a short scene of it on their in the eyes of the storm dvd!

This is one of my favorite bands..I have all their albums and love them all!!!! I wish Enigma would have been release on the 8th but hopefully I'd be released soon. Cause I'm gonna go see them the 19th of Feb. in St. Louis!!!! I can't wait cause it's been over 2yrs since I seen them last. The 19th will be the my 9th time seeing them.

I thought the new album was kinda shitty. Anyone agree? I like half the songs and then the other half just isn't special at all. I think they need to sit down and listen to their first 2 albums
